Longstanding and extensive experience in high-end, luxury customer service … an intuitive sense of clients' needs … being one of that extraordinarily rare breed known as the “born and bred New Yorker”… a knowledge of New York City which is non-pareil … Patrick Hazlewood brings all of this and more to his real estate clients!
His intimacy with the city's various environs and their particular tempos, has found him serving as a reliable source of advice for both those planning a move to a different neighborhood, as well as those planning a significant relocation (at one point, having moved into a particular building complex, eight of his friends soon followed, deeming the “Hazlewood Stamp of Approval” more than adequate endorsement). Furthermore, his stint as a consultant on/for restaurants, clubs and lounges found many relying on his intimate knowledge of what was trending at the moment in nightlife.
Born and raised in New York City, Patrick attended one of New York city's most competitive and exclusive preparatory schools, The Packer Collegiate Institute, where he demonstrated leadership early on, not only as Student Council President, but also as captain and Number One Singles player for the school's tennis team. This led to him further pursuing the sport at the college level, playing for Middlebury College, and an ongoing love affair with the sport.
After graduating with a B.A. in French and a minor in psychology from the liberal arts leader, Patrick worked for an international market research and consulting firm whose aim was to assist executives and companies with business strategies that complement and support their functioning. This proved to be invaluable training for managing both expectations and meeting the needs of a wide spectrum of clients. Subsequently, having grown up spending significant amounts of time at the family's home there, Patrick moved full time to London, England where he received his law degree from the University of Wolverhampton. Upon completion of his studies, whilst on a visit to Milan during Fashion Week, he was discovered and soon found himself signed to a top modeling agency and moving to the city. This would prove to be the beginning of a very long and successful career in the industry that continues to this day. He has worked and traveled throughout Europe, Australia, and the US working for such notable labels as Dolce and Gabbana, Prada, Christian Dior, Byblos, and Kenneth Cole, to name but a few.
Having traveled extensively worldwide throughout his life, thanks to parents that loved to do so and rarely left he and his brother at home with the nanny, Patrick developed a broad understanding of and exposure to various cultures, mores, and lifestyles. Due to the visibility of modeling, he was asked to host several high-profile events and was bitten by the event production bug. For years, Patrick hosted and produced all manner of super stylish events, from club and restaurant openings, to product launches, to celebrations for many bold-faced names worldwide! Along with this, he had a very successful career as a luxury concierge. Working in several of New York's toniest buildings serving as home to the “one percent of the one percent”, this required business development and management of strategic partnerships with oversight of five-star concierge services for Witkoff Group's 10 Madison Square West, Gotham Organization's Gotham West, and Madison Equities' 212 5th Avenue. Charged with all manner of lifestyle management, travel, and creation of one-of-a-kind experiences worldwide, Patrick always delivered. Clients came to appreciate that he offered not merely suggestions, but exclusive access afforded only to him. His sense of style off the runway/not in front of the camera has landed him on George Wayne's of Vanity Fair's annual “Downtown 100” list several times and serving as a red-carpet presenter for several media outlets. In addition, Patrick's Instagram Live show, “Patrick Talks”, born out of the Covid19 lockdown, opened another means by which Patrick's breadth of experience and knowledge could be appreciated. The IG Live show is an entertainment show covering everything from cookery segments, to actor interviews, to aesthetic dentistry, to interior design and more. His personal insights “as a tastemaker” with a refreshing take on a variety of topics is on full display.
Patrick has always had a keen interest in all things real estate. From architecture, to interior design, to real estate market trends, he could consistently be found perusing real estate sections “just seeing what's about and at what price point”. While researching the real estate investment arena (he has recently commenced a portfolio with the intent of acquiring long, medium, and short term rental properties), his interest was solidified, and he opted to get a real estate license and earnestly dive into a career in the industry. Patrick has always been a natural connector, both personally and in a business setting, and this translates organically to matching clients with their real estate dreams, even guiding them to criteria of which they are unaware they require. His careers in luxury concierge services and event planning finds him accustomed to overseeing simultaneous projects and managing multiple deadlines with attention to detail, finesse, and creativity.
Despite a dizzyingly busy schedule, Patrick comes from a long line of philanthropists and thus takes as his duty, giving back. To that end, he has been a longtime supporter of Operation Smile (having served as a committee member for decades), a non-profit organization providing cleft palate and harelip repair worldwide, ADAPT Community Network organization providing cutting edge programs and services for the disabled community, and World Wide Orphans whose goal is to maintain families as a unit, thus reducing the orphan population.
Patrick is an avid tennis player, skier, animal rescue advocate and wellness proponent living primarily in New York City.
