Bright, modern studio home in an elegant, elevator cooperative on one of the most picturesque blocks of the Upper East Side with high ceilings and a very low maintenance fee that includes internet. Clean, crisp, and refreshing, this home is the breath of fresh air that you have been waiting for. Graced with a tree-lined street view, Apt. 2G gazes calmly to the Northeast through two large windows, adorned with charming wood shutters, that allow a lovely soft light to flood the space throughout the day. Looking into the lush canopy of a Callery Pear tree not only provides a natural green screen for privacy, but also a vibrant display of color throughout the seasons; from dense white blossoms in the spring, to rich reds, oranges and burgundies each fall. This uplifting home has a light and airy feel that naturally puts the mind at ease, brought on by thoughtfully chosen finishes and several innate characteristics: large room proportions enabling one to live, dine, entertain and sleep comfortably, above average 9' ceiling height, durable light gray wide plank flooring, two extra large closets and through-wall air conditioning that doesn't take up any precious window space. The accommodating open kitchen features honed calacatta stone countertops with matching backsplash, stainless steel appliances, ample cabinet and drawer space and a large peninsula with a 3-seater breakfast bar that makes it a pleasure to host. The updated tile bathroom features a soaking tub, hexagonal floor tile, two medicine cabinets and pedestal sink. 330 East 83rd Street is a beautifully maintained pre-war, elevator cooperative with part-time doorman from 2pm - 10pm Monday through Friday, a central laundry room, a video intercom system, a live-in superintendent, and additional storage although there is a waitlist.
