A spectacular Central Park West residence in one of the Upper West Side's most distinguished prewar cooperatives. Offered in as-is condition, Apartment 22 presents an exceptional opportunity for a buyer with vision to create a home tailored to their own taste and lifestyle. Currently configured as a spacious two- or three-bedroom apartment with two full bathrooms, the residence has an impressive scale and wonderful original character. The 22'10" wide living room faces directly onto Central Park and enjoys a double exposure, providing beautiful park views and an abundance of natural light. Soaring 10-foot ceilings, original hardwood floors and original moldings add an unmistakable sense of prewar grandeur. With its generous proportions and flexible layout, the apartment offers architectural elements that are increasingly difficult to find. The Turin, at 333 Central Park West between West 93rd and 94th Streets, is a landmarked, 1909 Italian Renaissance Revival cooperative designed by architect Albert Joseph Bodker. The handsome building is distinguished by its two-story limestone base, ornamental terra-cotta details and wrought-iron balconies. It is a full-service cooperative with a 24-hour doorman, live-in superintendent, elevator, newly renovated fitness center, children's playroom, bicycle room, laundry and a spectacular new roof deck with direct views of Central Park and the Midtown skyline. The building is pet-friendly and permits washers and dryers in apartments, subject to board approval. A private basement storage space is included at no additional cost, adding valuable convenience and utility. Directly across from Central Park, The Turin enjoys an enviable location near the Reservoir, North Meadow and the park's many recreational amenities, as well as the restaurants, shops and services of the Upper West Side. The B and C subway lines are conveniently located nearby. Apartment 22 offers something increasingly rare: exceptional ceiling height, grand prewar proportions, original architectural detail and Central Park views - all in a full-service Central Park West cooperative.
