South Pass Ranch is a 1400 acre deeded ranch with a 160 acre BLM parcel at its center. This scenic rancho has mesa top gramma grass pastures, stock dams collecting run off water, cedar & pinon covered arroyos and deep canyons with stands of tall long needled ponderosa pines. Its been used as a cow calf and a horse operation in the past and the perimeter has good fences too! You'll find 5 stock dams, one with a solar subsurface pump. Native wildlife abounds w/black bear, deer, big cats and other native species. There are elk on the ranch, but no hunt permits exist but could be applied for!
