Heather Swicicki has been a full-time residential real estate agent with Douglas Elliman Real Estate since 2003. She has a genuine passion for helping people find their next home, sell or lease their homes or investment properties, and present the best return on their investments. And she's excellent at it!

Over the years, Heather has sold and rented properties in every neighborhood in Manhattan and most of Brooklyn. She is intimately familiar with the markets, trends, pricing and opportunities available at any time for her clientele.

As of 2022, Heather has solely sold over $200,000,000 in sales for Manhattan and Brooklyn, and is consistently ranked in the Top 20 agents for Manhattan and Brooklyn. Her uncanny ability to recall recent and past comps has always helped her determine the correct price for both representing listings and remitting offers for buyers, as well as thinking quickly in a fast paced market.

She's also helped many investors to secure maximum rental returns on their Manhattan and Brooklyn real estate portfolios with attractive cap rates per their respective price points. Growing up, Heather absorbed the ins and outs of real estate management by watching her grandparents manage their investment apartment buildings on Long Island. This innate knowledge has been invaluable when guiding her investors while leasing out their rental properties as well as managing them.

Her incomparable knowledge, concierge-style service, tenacious approach and outstanding results have led her to excel. Heather believes it is always a good time to buy, sell or rent, and encourages her clients not to become discouraged in challenging markets. “If you don't succeed, try and try again” is her winning philosophy, in her work and life. This could not be truer, she says, than when navigating NYC real estate.

Heather also has relationships with dozens of established agents across the United States, The Hamptons, and in Europe and Asia, as well as commercial agents in NYC that she frequently collaborates with, making her a go-to resource for any client who also has real estate needs virtually anywhere in the world.

Knowing the process can at times be stressful, Heather feels it doesn't have to be. Her advice for all of her clients is when the time is right, the best sale or lease will align into place. She offers tailored strategies for clients depending on their needs, timeframe, and when there are multiple offers on the same properties. “I always try my best to proceed with ease and confidence to ensure a successful end-result regardless of the market conditions. I help my clients focus on what is most important, and help them narrow down their must-have list. Often times, I come up with a different apartment or townhouse option and even neighborhood options that a client may not have initially considered, but ends up proceeding with and they are always very happy they took my advice to take a chance on option they otherwise would not have considered.”

Originally from Huntington, NY, on Long Island, Heather holds a degree in Psychology from Ithaca College. She has been a full-time resident of Manhattan since 2003 and has lived near Columbus Circle, and on the Upper East Side near Central Park for many years. As a lifelong equestrian who has ridden competitively on the A circuit since childhood, including in Wellington, FL, the home of the Winter Equestrian Festival, Heather will soon be a licensed real estate agent in Florida as well, to assist clients from New York in Florida in addition to equestrians during the winter circuit. She spends substantial time going between these desirable markets and has extensive expertise in both.

Heather sits on the board of the Changing Leads Foundation, an equestrian charity that raises funds and connects at-risk youths to horseback riding opportunities and programs in NY, NJ and CT.

Leisurely, Heather enjoys running, bike riding, taking HIIT classes, horseback riding of course, Kundalini yoga which she practices regularly, Central Park, museums, the philharmonic at Lincoln Center, traveling and her adorable Yorkie-Poo, Maxie.

Heather is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, Knight Frank Residential, and the United States Equestrian Federation.
