Adam Gerber

A lifelong New Yorker, Adam was born and raised on Long Island surrounded by family and friends in all facets of the real estate industry. Having lived in every corner of the city from Queens to the West Village, he brings his extensive knowledge of each neighborhood's singular drumbeat to satiate his client's unique tastes.

Whether you are purchasing a home for the first time, a repeat buyer, selling or renting, Adam's charisma, warmth and charm, along with his tireless creative energy makes any demanding process enjoyable and fun. After all, "home wasn't built in a day."

Adam came into real estate after an accomplished decade of teaching, as a faculty member both at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting/NYU Tisch and The Actor's Studio in Tokyo, Japan. His innate passion for people, process and education translates into the highest level of individualized service and attention for every single one of his real estate clients. Adam joined the highly successful Leibowitz Team at Douglas Elliman after finding their non-negotiable focus on ethics, professional customer service, knowledge base and passion for the industry, was wholly aligned with his own vision for how clients should be taken care of.

A graduate of the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, and earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of San Diego. He also received the Darlene Marcos-Shiley award for "Professional Promise." Outside of his real estate practice, Adam enjoys exercising, being of service in the community, theatre, and of course teaching. He happily lives with his miraculous fiancé Michal, their Havanese dog Puchi, and their 16-year-old tuxedo cat Rambo. As a proud homeowner himself in Chelsea, Adam can often be spotted at his local Starbucks any given morning.
