Roy, who prefers to be called Ed, has been a highly successful real estate salesperson for more than fifteen years in the Park Slope, Brooklyn area. Ed recently joined Halstead Property and brings his accumulated experience and market knowledge to match the growing opportunities for an expanding client base. Eds goal is to bring added value before, during and after any real estate transaction. Being a good listener and understanding the goals and desires of buyers and sellers is the first important step to reach excellent results for all. Every buyer and seller has a unique set of expectations and needs when making a real estate decision. Ed has the knowledge and insight it takes to guide clients through the complicated and hard driving New York real estate market. Ed has accumulated a set of skills over the many years spent in corporate real estate services including leasing, property management, project management, negotiating acquisition and disposition of real assets. This professional experience has added greatly in helping buyers and sellers reach informed decisions when buying or selling a home. Ed has been a resident and homeowner in Park Slope for twenty-five years and enjoys introducing new-comers to the area and other great Brooklyn neighborhoods. He is a former trustee of the Park Slope Civic Council and a member of the Prospect Park Alliance. Ed has also been a volunteer for Doctors Without Borders/Medecins sans Frontieres for more than ten years, spending a day each week in the U.S. office. While in graduate school, Ed bought and renovated a house in the historic South End neighborhood. This was such a satisfying experience that he repeated the process when moving to Park Slope. Ed enjoys traveling to all parts of the world to enhance his interest in architecture and indulge in the pleasures of urban discoveries from Italian hill towns to metropolitan centers like Barcelona and Buenos Aires.
