Brown Harris Stevens

129 Montague Street
Margaret joins Brown Harris Stevens with an extensive background in real estate, construction management and marketing. Having owned and renovated several co-ops, lofts and a historic townhouse, she has a talent for identifying value and knows the challenges of a real estate transaction. After moving to Brooklyn 40 years ago to pursue an Architecture degree at Pratt Institute, she went on to study Construction Management at NYU. Throughout her long career she has worked with owners, tenants, lawyers and contractors, and has overseen the renovation of numerous apartments as well as her own landmark townhouse. While raising her daughter, Margaret was involved in many community organizations, beginning with the Tot-Spot in Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanic Garden Plant Sale, the Brooklyn Womens Exchange and sitting on the board of Pratt Institute. She also co-chaired the Grace Church Restoration Project which was recently received The New York Landmarks Conservancy Lucy Moses Award. Much to her daughters chagrin, she worked on numerous events and fundraising projects at Packer Collegiate Institute. In her free time, Margaret can be found at a museum, visiting gardens or traveling, fly fishing and she is a total ballet nut.
