Chelsea Silvernell was born and raised in New York City and has lived everywhere from the Upper East Side to the West Village, from the Upper West Side to Harlem. She prides herself on knowing the city like the back of her hand. A former big firm lawyer. Chelsea spent years working with high powered and demanding clients where stakes were high and time was scarce. She developed her skills for communicating with clients who didn't always see eye to eye and finding creative solutions to what may at first seem to be daunting obstacles. Recognizing she thrived in a fast-paced environment, Chelsea spent ten years running the recruiting divisions of several prominent legal staffing companies, managing teams and staffing projects of up to 100 lawyers across the United States and abroad. Always passionate about theater, Chelsea launched and served as the Executive Director of an award-winning theater company, 3Graces Theater Co., committed to developing the voices of new playwrights and telling socially relevant women's stories on stage. As a seasoned performer and producer, Chelsea knows how to generate a buzz' and build an audience -- whether that be for an opening night -- or open house. She is at home in both the corporate and artistic worlds and prides herself on being able to creatively navigate a broad range of the unexpected in order meet her clients' expectations of excellence and get the job done with grace and integrity. With her finger on the pulse of Manhattan real estate, Chelsea set her eyes on Harlem 14 years ago and bought a brownstone where she lives with her partner and 4-year-old twins. She intimately understands what it means to take risks, the anxiety that can come with making the biggest purchase of your life and the importance of finding a place to call home in this wonderful but sometimes crazy city. Chelsea is a graduate of the Riverdale Country School, Vassar College and Emory Law School where she served on the Law Review. She loves all things New York City and has even run the New York Marathon (once!).
