I am a life-long resident of Brooklyn. I was raised in Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights, and have an intimate knowledge of the surrounding landmark neighborhoods. Ive grown up here, I work here, and I am nurturing a family here. My recent experience with the renovation of our brownstone in Park Slope has illuminated my understanding of the elusive concept of Home, and my long time involvement with organizations such as the Park Slope Food Coop, the Prospect Park Alliance, and Poly Prep, where I chair the Freedom from Bias Diversity Initiative, has given me a great appreciation for Brooklyn, and how our brownstone communities have become such coveted destinations. Ive worked on Wall Street and have had a very successful career as an independent pension consultant and financial planner. I understand personal finance and taxes and know how to make money work for you, rather than you for it.Ive lived in Brooklyn (Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope and DUMBO) for over 30 years, and during that time have been involved in various aspects of real estate investment and management for myself - and many others. Every deal Ive done has involved leverage and tax strategies, including 1031 like kind exchanges. I can bring this broad range of knowledge and experience to serve the varied needs of residential buyers and sellers, as well as real estate investors. I consider myself a facilitator.
