Kleopatra Phili

Cultured, enthusiastic, and resourceful, Kleopatra Phili draws upon her life experiences as a world traveler and real estate investor to guide her clients and customers as she would herself -- through a big-picture perspective of the real estate market, her experience in buying properties in Manhattan, and being street smart in an industry that she loves. She is hard working and determined, guiding her clients and customers every step of the way, from the initial search for a property, to the negotiation, the closing and beyond, actively interviewing contractors and interior designers to add to her list of vetted contacts. As a young girl, Kleo moved from Cyprus to New York with her family, and has been globetrotting ever since. She has lived abroad in London, maintains a home in Athens, Greece, and travels annually to Paris. These experiences have provided Kleo with a respect for different cultures and diversity, and an ability to see the commonality in all people. Further, having relocated to New York from London, she understands the process of moving to New York City, and the transition experience puts her in an excellent position to assist international buyers. Prior to entering the world of real estate, Kleo worked as a legal assistant for the law firm of Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher. In that position, she worked in a high-pressure environment and excelled at multitasking and meeting deadlines. The skills learned in this field, along with her exceptional organizational skills and loyal demeanor, translate well to real estate. She also earned a degree in English Literature from William Paterson University. She can present her ideas and goals in a clear and concise manner, maintaining focus and putting her clients at ease. Kleo owns homes in the East Village and in Franklin Lakes, NJ, and possesses an extensive knowledge of New York City and all of its neighborhoods. She has a husband, two children and a shih tzu named Coco. She is always bringing people together to discuss ideas, topical events and literature. Through the American School in London, for example, she was an active member of the International Community Club and the East Asia Pacific Club. As of 2014, for all closed sales transactions, Kleo will donate a tree in the name of the purchaser via the New York Restoration Project, and the buyer will be sent a certificate signed by NYRP founder Bette Midler and the Mayor of New York. She maintains a blog, KleoPhili.tumblr.com, and tweets about real estate. Kleo actively seeks to always be the first to hear about real estate trends, transactions, and up-and-coming neighborhoods, and uses this knowledge to scout out property for her clients and customers.
